And besides the ongoing assortment of brilliant office parody which never seems to run out of great material, somehow this calendar continues to introduce improvements year after year after year, even when that year I wonder whether all possible improvements have been made and this is roughly what we'll get next year, only with a new assortment of funny. Before this calendar I had alternated each year between different calendars such as The Far Side and whatever was the big movie of the previous. I've been getting this calendar for some years, and came to enjoy it even more about 5 years ago when I left my office to take a job in a cubicle farm. But look at what's offered: * A good sturdy base (not all calendars can say this).* Pages that tear easily from the adhesive strip at the top* Last year or maybe before introduced the perforation on the adhesive strip to allow easy tearing every other month so you're not faced with either a gigantic curling adhesive strip at the top or a really messy rip as you try meticulously to prune it* Cartoons are now in color EVERY SINGLE DAY, not just on Sunday, and even adding color to just Sunday was an improvement one year* My favorite addition this year -- "The Daily Extra". Once this one landed on my desk, it quickly locked me in to wanting another each subsequent year. Maybe it was the uncanny similarity between the pointy-hair boss and my real life boss, or maybe it was the spot on parody of situations too silly to happen in real life and yet they've somehow happened to me and to you (admit it). Bits of trivia, games, puzzles, etc., and when I get something such as a Sudoku puzzle or a "find how many words can be made of this" game, I slip it under my keyboard and work on it for a few minutes later in the day when I need a break from the insanity that is life in a cubicle. Stop smirking, you know you'll do the same.In short, I'll be buying this yet again next year and I'd recommend it to anyone who can enjoy a laugh at corporate life.
I really enjoy Dilbert and all the characters. Brings a smile to my face every morning, especially since one of the characters is named after me.
A page a day of downbeat encouragement. Scott Adams calendars always make you feel that no matter how bad your day is going to be, it could be worse. Every person with a Dilbert job needs a Dilbert page-a-day calendar.
Hi all. Well, this calendar is pretty straight-forward: It gives you a Dilbert cartoon for every day of the year (including Sunday) as well as fun extras (Trivia, puzzles, etc). Love it, love it, love it.
It's Dilbert, if you don't like him, don't buy it. I like him I bought it and guess what I've enjoyed each day of cubicle humor.
